I've always been a carer, I'm from Africa, in my culture, when a member of the family is not well, it's the role of other family members situations support this individual. So I looked after my uncles, aunties, parents, siblings, neighbours who were sick... as this is what we doability someone who isn't feeling amell. I study heal, as well as a fast, I was given a placement to work in different care settings, it was then, that I realised I was doing a job. Then I fell more in love with it open-minded to do it to prove thessignally
I am passionate about helping others to make a difference in their lives. I enjoy the job and all that comes with it. It just comes naturally to me.
I have been working in the care sector for over 7years now, I have worked in different care settings from hospitals, to nursing/care homes, to live-in care, domiciliary and end of life care in the community. I have done different training over the years and continue to train as needed. My training is up to date.
Iam able to remain calm in challenging stuitations , I've learnt to be more patient with my clients and generally in life , I communicate and listen well , pay attention to detail and able to follow instructions.
